Since man actually began putting down roots and living in houses, being close to the sea has always been desirable. Granted, we no longer need to fish for our suppers (although many love to do so) or venture forth bravely to conquer new lands, but there is something deep within all our souls that tells us that we want to be near water. The wish for properties with seaviews and the feeling of space and being at one with nature that they give make them very desirable indeed.
